The kick-off week of the course will allow you to meet other community members ready to make healthy lifestyle changes. Come join a supportive group environment where you'll learn evidence-based nutrition practices to allow you to make changes in your life.
Week 2: Shopping Lists & Recipe Planning
Feeling overwhelmed with planning meals for the week? We'll break down how to shop based on your meal preferences (and make it affordable).
Week 3: Forming Healthy Habits & Meal Prep
Creating healthy habits sets the tone for how your day we'll go-we'll discuss how behavior changes can help you on your path to wellness.
Week 4: How to Eat Healthy on the Road
Confused what 'healthy' choices there are when you're at restaurants? Let's discuss what healthy options exist and how to know whether a dish is health supportive.
Week 5: The Power of Exercise
Let's incorporate cardio and other forms of workout into your busy routine, while setting realistic and fun fitness goals.
Week 6: Family Meals
The week can get busy, and this week we'll discuss how you can do bulk cooking for everyone in your family.
Week 7: Evidence-Based Practices Based on Blue Zones
Blue Zones are areas around the world where people live the longest, so we'll examine the diets of these people and take away healthy practices that we can use in our lives.
Week 8: Putting Strategies into Practice
During the final week of group, we'll discuss takeaways and how to continue implementing healthy changes into our lives.
